Review on Humminbird 410210-1 HELIX 5 CHIRP GPS G2 Fish Finder: Discover Underwater Depths in Black! by Adam Rogers

I bought this to use as a dual purpose finder for both kayaking and mainly for the ice fishing season. The included transducer is on my kayak and hasn't had much success with it in warm waters. I mainly fish in lakes and ponds that are semi shallow, maybe that's why. However, I've had bad luck the few times I've been to one of the Great Lakes. For me on a kayak it's basically a fish finder. However, I recently bought a XI 9 1521 ice fishing transducer and this is where it really shines. Flasher mode is extremely responsive and offers many different screen options. My first trip helped me see a beautiful big mouth under the ice.
