Even if you take the manual out of the box, it lists features that this model doesn't have. I bought a Helix 5 G2 GPS fish finder. I like the functionality of the device, but I am not satisfied with the Hummingbird customer support. Unfortunately, my device turns off intermittently during use and I can't turn it back on for about an hour when this happens. It seems to me that this is an overheating issue, but Hummingbird disagrees. I am very disappointed with the quality of the delivered devices. After installing the sensor bracket on my boat, I began to mount the sensor using the included stainless steel bolt and locknut, but after about half tightening the bolt, the bolt and nut became stuck. I can't tighten it further to attach the sensor and I can't get the bolt out to replace with a higher quality stainless steel bolt and nut. This only happens with crappy stainless hardware. I bought this to use as a dual purpose finder for both kayaking and mainly for the ice fishing season. The included transducer is on my kayak and hasn't had much success with it in warm waters. I mainly fish in lakes and ponds that are semi shallow, maybe that's why. However, I've had bad luck the few times I've been to one of the Great Lakes. For me on a kayak it's basically a fish finder.
