Review on Mount Plus Compact Blu Ray Streaming by Sedric Hood

I ordered one of these for a friend who needed to install a small set top box next to the TV that sits on a rocking wall mount in her kitchen. Your cable TV provider (Charter Communications) refuses to connect the coaxial cable directly to the TV. This mount is the perfect size for the STB and has a nice design. The glass is attached to the metal bracket with double-sided tape, which allows you to either mount the glass flush to the wall or leave a small gap between the wall and the back edge of the glass for cable routing. There are only two downsides: 1. Fastening hardware is not ideal for installing drywall. The supplied anchors are suitable for stand mounting, but are not suitable for drywall and cavities. I replaced the anchors with lever bolts.2. Due to the weight of the STB, the shelf sags because the strut has no folds. The small Charter Communications STB is relatively lightweight, lighter than a DVR or DVD/Blu-Ray player, and the front of the shelf is approximately 1 inch lower than the back when the STB is placed on it. In my case it worked because I left enough room so there was enough clearance between the bottom of the shelf and the TV underneath, but cosmetically it doesn't look very good and if you don't expect sagging you can roll it up using the extra holes in the wall that you need to complete.
