Not quite as I expected.

The picture shows the backflow of water into the aquarium. While this is possible, I don't think the pump actually filters the water when the top head unit is rotated to water the aquarium as the water bypasses any filter media that is on the top of the head unit. , above the pump. There is another water outlet at the bottom of the device that shakes whatever is at the bottom of the aquarium. It's probably decent if the showerhead is used to back-inject the filter material, but that's not what prompted me to order this.

Pros

Easy Installation: Comes with everything needed for installation. Rinse filter pads and bio balls, attach filters to the wall with suction cups, simply plug in and get started. Easy cleaning and low maintenance, rinse the filter sponge regularly, rinse or replace the filter media as needed to maintain maximum filtration efficiency.
