Works well but encounters some issues with installation. This is NOT an OEM replica. Instead of a cable connection at the top, it's on the back where it's very difficult to screw in. Be sure to install it BEFORE mounting the device. The 2 screws in the base were too far apart to fit the existing bracket so I had to fit 2 screws instead of 3. Seems to work fine but due to modifications from the real OEM it took twice as long as it should. I also added about 6 inches of 6 ga cable to get to the new mounting location on the back instead of the top. If my son's car hadn't been completely lowered, I would have returned the device. The device was installed on a 2000 Ford Explorer. with 4.0L V-6
