First, the sound quality is good enough for near-field monitoring on a desktop or laptop computer. They are far more accurate than typical in-wall speakers or a typical speaker set designed more for gaming, streaming, etc. The distortion-free level that can be achieved is more than sufficient to play tracks in a small home office (e.g. 10' x 10'). Bass can often be overwhelming in this type of environment, but is well balanced. The processing quality is very good. The fit and finish is excellent and they sit firmly on the table. Two complaints that interfere with daily use: (1) When the devices are on, they make a very loud noise to "make itself felt". This is the same volume regardless of the position of the volume control. The first time it happens it's frightening and then annoying. (2) There is a long pause between pressing the "mode" button to change the front panel inputs and when they are changed. If you miss your choice, you'll have to go all the way back. Too exhausting.
