This replaced a stuck IACV on my 2004 Honda Element (symptoms were idle spikes that never went back to normal). The new IACV appeared to be well made and included a matching gasket that runs between the IACV and the throttle body. After that everything worked fine, the problem of idle jumps was fixed. To make it easier to disassemble and reassemble, I removed the entire throttle body with the old IACV still attached. If so, you should also get a new throttle body gasket. Revain usually offers this gasket as an add-on when you buy an IAC.
