Works well on a 2005 Honda Element

I installed this on my 2005 Honda Element. It fits perfectly and works well. I've had it installed for about a month now. This solved my hesitant idle problem.

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • Will not fit all

Failed right away good for spares

Let me get a replacement because I bought this in July 2019 but only installed it last week because I cleaned the original part and it fixed the problem for a one some months. Then installed this and it did the same thing on first launch

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • For a long time

Not good for 2004 Item

Replaces the factory part. It looked the same but the idle kept going up to 2500 and then 1000. I then thought it was TPS so I replaced that too. The same thing happened. Finally, I just cleaned and reinserted the old native IAC. It's going well now. The 30 day window had just expired so I couldn't go back. Garbage.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Annoying

Worked great! good fit for fuel system

After buying two unnamed brands at half price, made in the same Chinese factory, both were dead on arrival. Got this one and it worked great! I seriously bought two other cheaper ones sold at Revain and both were dead on arrival. After the second one I thought I might have a vacuum leak somewhere that I just couldn't find, after a couple of hours of unsuccessful searching I decided me to buy this and all problems were fixed.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No paint required

Idle air control valves worked best for me

This replaced a stuck IACV on my 2004 Honda Element (symptoms were idle spikes that never went back to normal). The new IACV appeared to be well made and included a matching gasket that runs between the IACV and the throttle body. After that everything worked fine, the problem of idle jumps was fixed. To make it easier to disassemble and reassemble, I removed the entire throttle body with the old IACV still attached. If so, you should also get a new throttle body gasket. Revain usually offers…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Long wait

The initial installation is very good!

Bought because my wife's car was starting to idle strangely (in cold weather the revs were typically high, but after warming up the revs fluctuated regularly and very consistently between 1500 and 2000 rpm ). Some research online has shown that this is most likely either a vacuum leak or a faulty IACV (this point). I did a quick check of the hoses and couldn't find anything, so watched a few YouTube videos on how to remove the old one and install the new one with minimal removal of other parts…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • I'm concerned
