This little cherry picker is a great tool for pitting cherries. Cleaning is also difficult. Don't expect to remove a large number of cherries in a short amount of time as the pit is only designed for 6 cherries at a time. We found this stoner to work more efficiently than the larger handle and pit we used. Between two petters, this one was the winner. We both ate 23 pounds of pitted cherries in 3 1/2 hours. Long and hard work, but still easier than making cherries individually.
