I used to buy mainly Freud bits, so I was a bit skeptical about buying such a cheap bit set. So far I've used these bits to cut dados in Baltic birch plywood and then bevel and round edges on some hardwood maple. I was impressed with the quality of the cutters. I used them in a low speed Makita LXT router. This is a good starter set. I was planning on replacing them with Freud's bits when they wear out, but I can easily resharpen them. The beats seem intact after the first draft, I look forward to many more uses of them.
