Can be replaced in your home garage. BUT, it will take a few things: 1) a few days to complete if you don't get a ball joint press and make some press shims. Metal spacers because wood seems to work. 2) Be alone for a while and try to put the press up your sleeve because you will be using a lot of seaman's words. Don't rotate these 90 degrees, as some will point out, because you'll rip them apart and do it over and over again. And you will use these sailor words over and over again. Be patient and do it right. Watch the video, post everything and take your time. Recommended if you get close: replace the stands as most of what needs to be removed will be removed. Replace the front driveshaft CV joint while you have room because it's easier and ok. If necessary, exchange axle/axles, there is almost nothing standing in the way. And installing that screw on the top sleeve is PITA! Enjoy!
