I came close enough (kept fingers together very tight) to return them, thinking I ordered the wrong item and will never use them. And hello. . . They're really proud of them judging by the price. They sat on my workbench for weeks until one day I started working with scraps of .22 sterling silver sheets that were too small to cut with a jewelers saw. These knives cut through the blade like butter. Then, of course, I had to experiment with copper wire with a large cross-section. Easy peasy, lemon juice! The "pinch" is much less pronounced than I imagined which meant a minimal amount of trim. I didn't want to love these boats, but they conquered me!
