I've tried several different phone holders for my car and this one was the most satisfying. I was given a similar holder and I really liked it so I went to Revain and looked for another holder for other cars. I ordered this one thinking it was identical but it wasn't - it was BETTER. The U shaped part that holds the pop socket to what I got was hard plastic, THIS is softer and more pliable - probably silicone - and seems impossible to break. Part of the U piece broke the first one I broke and will no longer hold the pop socket. It has since been replaced by another one of them. I don't really like gluing my phone to the air vent, but I just haven't found a good alternative because I don't want to glue anything to my dashboard. I've had issues with other models not staying in the vents or being difficult to install and/or remove. It's easy to install, quick to remove when needed, stays where I put it, and can be adjusted. I love it!
