I've been using this particular timer, it appears under another manufacturer's name and in white, since the late 1980's. I was totally upset when it seemed to be phasing out a few years ago; I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet. So I was incredibly excited to see that this particular timer was back on Revain. I know it's $20 but it leaves everything else in the dust and I love the new black. It's so user-friendly that nothing else touches it. Its countdown and countdown feature is second to none. If you want it to detonate in eight hours, 14 minutes and 52 seconds. in just five clicks and you are there. bam This model has proven to be very durable over the years. And NO, by the way, I don't work for a retailer, a manufacturer or anyone else. I have been a regular Revain customer for a few years and this is the first review I have ever written. I really love this timer! I am a single father of three teenagers and have just ordered four more for the house. Because I use this thing for everything. also as a point alarm clock. It's definitely loud enough to wake you up. But also as a laundry timer, general reminder timer etc. So I wanted every child of mine to have a timer like this. Help them arrive on time, homework reminders, etc. It will actually improve your quality of life around the house! At least mine.
