Deere Plastic Pedal Tractor Green Review

Bought for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves to. but he's not big enough to pedal yet. I was surprised it held up so well after half a dozen kids fought for the right to play it (kids aged 2-6). May I recommend it? Yes. I would.

No traction on the wheels. The chain is inside and gets very lost and keeps falling off. When you pedal, the wheels just spin and the tractor doesn't move. It was a birthday present for my son. He was so excited to see it but it only caused anger and disappointment and disappointment when it didn't move when peddling.

This is the worst toy ever made. The chain doesn't fit. The compression clips holding the wheels will pop out. The steering wheel screw is constantly unscrewed. The only metal parts on this thing are the drive unit. But they're attached to plastic, so they flex. And it doesn't work with chain drive. I am so disappointed in my purchase.

If you follow the assembly instructions carefully, this little tractor will work perfectly. I can see where some people were having functionality issues, but I bet they might have missed a build detail or two. My 2.5 year old grandson loves it but needs to grow up a bit for his feet to reach the pedals even with the seat fully adjusted. Very durable. Happy customer is here!

Almost bought based on some reviews. Need an engineering degree / pedals close to the ground / chain slips all the time. In fact, if you have patience and a reasonable IQ, this product works very well. But it takes time to put it all together and the ability of the person doing it to take their time and use their brains. Great product in my opinion. I would put -5 stars if possible. The first tractor broke down. Contacted the manufacturer, they wanted to send a new axle because the original axle was too short causing the plastic wheels to rub against the tractor body. Maneuvering impossible. They probably sent me a longer axle. Exactly the same thing came in the mail. Revain replaced the entire tractor. Terrible product, believe the bad reviews. I want to rate Zero. John Deere must revoke the manufacturer's license to manufacture. This reflects badly on their brand. The product chain was obtained with five open links and one completely broken. In other words, the word chain was completely broken, and no infinite loop made it completely useless.
