Review on Belkin F5U218VMOB USB 2 0 Thumb by Tim Jolivette

My Gateway laptop has four USB ports, one is being used for a bluetooth dongle and the other has stopped working for some reason leaving me with only two ports be available. USB cable adapter that adds five ports (Looks like squid-like electrical cables and works great when the laptop is stationary. I was looking for a USB adapter that would provide additional ports, but didn't have a cable of any length. The adapter from Belkin was exactly what I was looking for and I was able to use it on my ACER netbook as well.The drivers installed easily and I was up and running with the adapter in no time.To keep this device from blocking other ports I use a swiveling adapter The only downside for me, and a big one, is that the Belkin Thumb Hub won't charge my iPhone 3GS no matter which port I tried, since smartphones run out of battery quickly, being able to charge my phone via USB is important to me. Without this option, I decided to return the goods.I have not tried other phones.Family Backgrounds to see if they're charging, but if you're not bothered about charging your phone (iPhone), it's worth getting this four-port adapter.
