Not Sharp! good for me

I had moderately high expectations when I purchased these pruning shears. Alas. They became dull within one use of deadheading my rose bushes. I am returning these pruning shears and I will purchase a pair with a bottom blade. The bottom piece of plastic on these shears renders the cutting process useless. A few cuts in, became more tearing the stems rather than having a fresh, clean cut.
