Review on Midwest Can 2310 Auto Shut Off Gasoline Can - 2 Gallon with Quick-Flow Spout by Jeff Addison

Revainrating 1 out of 5

What looks like a good idea doesn't work because of poor quality.

Idea: The spout is tight until the cap opens, and when you push the end of the spout to the bottom of the gas tank, the valve opens and gas flows out. When the spout is completely clear of the bottom of the bottle, the valve closes and the gas flow stops. Disadvantage: Careless molding of plastic parts results in press-fit parts. The closure, which is difficult to open, is difficult to open by hand, and the contact pressure on the spout is so great that it threatens to break the plastic tank holder on a kind of lawn trimmer. The gas bottle is completely useless.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Damaged
