The first time we played with it our German Shorthaired Pointer dog tore it to shreds. Exactly what I feared would happen to this mannequin. Our dog has a soft mouth, has been hunting for many years and is not at all destructive. The damage was done literally by running back to me with it in his mouth. I bought this to replace an old mannequin that we have been using for years. This one was *free* and took longer than this one! Extremely disappointed. I'm hesitant to buy anything from SportDog now as we were hoping to buy their invisible fence now, I don't know.
