I couldn't believe how much quieter my PTO was with this new tensioner! I oiled the old one thoroughly after it squeaked the first time. It didn't scream anymore. However, there was still background noise (which I mistakenly thought was normal) and V-belt vibration. I delayed changing the tensioner for a long time and could punish myself for it. My '89 Silverado is much quieter in the cab and the belt vibration is gone. I paid an extra $10 for the AC Delco and I think it's money well spent. Peace of mind is priceless!
