This rating would have been 5 stars if the device had worked according to specs for more than 5 months. After about 5 months he died regularly from me. I would unplug it from one USB port, plug it into another, and everything would work fine. Then today he died completely. Aside from an early death (it was cheap but I expect something like that to last over 7 months) it was very good value for money. Setup was easy - download the latest drivers from the website, no fiddling with the CD - and the device delivered pretty fast speeds (never hit 300Mbps not even 10ft from my router, but consistently 172Mbps s). Now 7 months later I have a dead block. I'll probably re-order the same thing (so I don't have to install new drivers or software) and bet I got a fancy lemon on my first purchase. Just take a look.
