Review on 📚 Large Square & Chunky Black Cloth Sketchbook - 25 X 25 cm - 140 GSM All-Media Cartridge White Paper - 95 Square Sheets, Perfect for Pencils, Pens, and Light Washes by Angela Rodriguez

I'm new to sketchbooks but I was looking for something with paper that works on different media and in a larger format. The Seawhite and Brighton albums do just that. I like the 10" square format - it gives me a lot more freedom than the A5 albums that seem to be so common. The book is sturdy and well made - the pages are crisp white with a little bit of serration (which I really like - not as smooth as moleskin) - and it stays almost completely flat when opened. So far the paper has been great for the pens, markers and watercolors I usually use. The paper warps slightly due to the watercolour, only small halos are visible with the brush. The company was very accommodating and prompt when I asked questions about how they put their watercolor albums on Revain - maybe we'll see them soon! I ordered her A3 sketchbook and it arrived today along with A4 starter sketchpads - so excited. I love the A3 format and I hope that the books will soon be sold in slipcases too! I'm already a big fan. I'll try to post pictures showing how the paper works.
