UPDATE - JUG CRACKED AFTER A FEW WEEKS OF OWNERSHIP. Do not buy. As soon as I put it in the fridge, I noticed lots of coffee everywhere. I couldn't believe it - the thing cracked! See photos. I have used this carafe to store coffee in the fridge (I love iced coffee). I want my money back!________________________________________________ Ergonomic design attracted me to this glass jar in combination with the possibility of heat resistance. However, the design has one major drawback. It's not a seamless pour, and for the money I paid I wouldn't have to remove the counter and side of the pitcher with every pour. It is everywhere.
