GLASS TOO THIN - BROKEN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY! Do not buy.

UPDATE - JUG CRACKED AFTER A FEW WEEKS OF OWNERSHIP. Do not buy. As soon as I put it in the fridge, I noticed lots of coffee everywhere. I couldn't believe it - the thing cracked! See photos. I have used this carafe to store coffee in the fridge (I love iced coffee). I want my money back!________________________________________________ Ergonomic design attracted me to this glass jar in combination with the possibility of heat resistance. However, the design has one major drawback. It's not aโ€ฆ

I love this pitcher

I love this pitcher. I prefer a glass jug to a plastic jug, but I have arthritis in my right arm and shoulder and sometimes find it difficult to lift something too heavy, so I resort to a lightweight plastic jug. When I saw this pitcher I fell in love with its style and when I read that it's lightweight I thought I'd give it a try. I am very very happy with this purchase, not only does it look very pretty but it is light enough when filled with my flavored water that I have no problem liftingโ€ฆ

My hand won't fit

It's advertised that you can put your hand in it, but I can't. My hand is medium or small for a 55 year old man. I should have understood that it comes with a cleaning brush. The hole is just under 3" and 1/16" in diameter. I haven't had a chance to use the jug but it seems to be a very good jug except that I want to hand wash it. My guess is that most women's hands will fit and most men's hands will not. I have no experience with borosilicate glass so I looked it up online and it is just asโ€ฆ

UPDATE: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR MATERIALS, CRACKS EASILY IN HEAT

I really like this product. I often use it to brew Jamaica (hibiscus flower) agua fresca. The item feels really solid, it's very easy to clean (I can easily put my hand in my mouth) and it handles the stove really well. I thought the handle would get very hot on the stove, but as long as the flame isn't directly over the handle it stays warm and is easy to take. The included lid is perfect and easy to clean. The lid has two positions, one with a strainer for straining larger tea leaves and theโ€ฆ
