I have these for Bought the vertical bunk legs on the back of my Tracker boat trailer. The LEDs will be submerged whenever we start or load the boat. An IP65 rating should be sufficient for these, although I wish they were IP67 or IP68 like some of the other similar lights on Revain. Both headlights work great, both for running lights and much brighter brake lights. The wires come out of a sealed tube 5/8" in diameter and 5/8" long at the back of the lantern. They are not difficult to install. Drill a hole about 5/8" in diameter for the wire nipple and two small holes (1/16" to 3/31") for the screws, then tie the wires to the taillights. The tiny 22 gauge wires are only about 10 inches long. You need to extend them with wires of the same size. WM sells a set of 25 foot 18 ga trailer light cords that work fine. I soldered the extension wires and sealed each connection with marine heat shrink tubing. Three wires: white = ground (connect to trailer light wiring), black = run/stop (connect to brown trailer light wiring), red = stop/turn signal (connect to green or yellow trailer light wiring). I replaced the supplied self-tapping screws with stainless steel screws of the same size. All drill holes are sealed with RTV silicone. I don't know how they will hold up or if the lenses will fog up from sun exposure, but they look great on my trailer. Other car headlights with red lenses that I bought online have become cloudy. For some reason I can't attach a video showing the lights working as brake lights and as turn signals.
