I'm 5ft 10", 200 lbs lbs, 40 years old and have a big belly 6 packs (typically 36-40" of waste) yes that's right , lol. So I tried size M, L and XL. XL was the ticket. Compression was the same for each size, but my waist was my comfort level. Really helps with recovery time after playing basketball with a left hip butt. I have less pain when wearing it. Not too much compression compared to others I've worn, but it hugs the skin and muscles and helps relieve pain. I will buy a second pair
