We had a stroller, but our two cats no longer fit (the kitten turned into a mammoth). So, judging by the reviews, it seemed to work, but it all boiled down to a test drive. Unfortunately this will not work with our 12 kg girl. Due to the shape of the bag, its head is wrinkled at the top. If it was bigger and squarer to accommodate her head it would be better. But that's not the only thing that didn't work for me. She weighs 12 pounds and the pack doesn't have enough structure to support the weight without digging into my lower back. Even with buckled chest and waist straps. So, I think this backpack would be great for a small dog or cat around 7-8 pounds to be comfortable for the owner as well. Shame, I was hoping it would work!
