A good portable sharpener for sharpening pruning shears etc.

A lot of people seem to miss the point. This is not what you need for everyday sharpening of a machete, bolos, or hunting knife. It can act as a sharpener, but it's actually designed to take care of your secateurs' blades. The picture of the hand scissors should serve as a starting point. Its size and shape allow you to reach the edges near the hinge. Places that could not be reached with a large rectangular stone. The thinness and taper at each end makes it easy to sharpen curves.
