I bought these in 2015 when I started stamping. Some of the designs worked great and some didn't work at all. Fast forward and I've bought and tried many different stamp plates and polishes. Now that it's 2018 I stamp regularly and know what to do, but I still find a lot of these records just don't work. I think the design might lack depth (maybe?). I say this because it carries over with some transparency even on slabs that work even with my more opaque stamping polishes. I also work fast, as some reviews say, but nada, some kind of varnish doesn't take it. It is well priced and there are many different designs, but be aware that not all are perfect. I also tried different stamp heads according to the manufacturer's instructions. (Some cutting heads are primed and some aren't, some manufacturers say acetone should be avoided and others recommend its use.) I'm hoping things have changed since I bought them and they're deeper or something. Many of them have been cute and there is a wide range of seasonal, floral and lace designs to choose from. Just a little disappointing.
