This is a great yarn for almost anything!
The yarn Simply Soft from Caron is a very comfortable yarn that can be knitted well alone or in combination with yarns from other brands. I have used it for baby blankets, christening towels, baby hats etc. It's not too thick for a size 4 yarn and combines well with soft baby yarn (3) like in the picture below. This blanket was made using another brand of baby yarn and Caron Simply Soft White yarn and it came out a nice thickness for a baby blanket!
