I worked FOUR days to remove the solder jumper on the MSOP-16 package. Pins 0.32mm wide with 0.5mm pitch. The bridge was deep in the pins, almost to the IC body. I have tried every method that has ever been posted. I finally bought this wick. I used a fine point on my flat iron and lots of flux and managed to force the worn end of this wick in and around the space of the bridge. BINGO. My board and chip were saved. By the way, I really like almost all MG Chemical products. 5 stars to it.
