Review on SEDNA - Internal USB 3.0 Hub with 4 Ports (Floppy Bay) by Rob Rogers
Not ideal when used with a 20-pin connector.
This item works but is not an elegant solution for adding USB 3.0 ports to the front of your computer. I did not fully read the item description or understand that this 4 port hub only uses a pigtail to connect to an existing external USB 3.0 port (which is typically found on the back of a computer case). Had I understood this feature I would not have purchased this device as I wanted to fully utilize the existing 20 pin header on my motherboard. Note that the device includes a 20-pin adapter, but still uses only one of the two ports provided. And the connector is a chunky connector that sits high above the motherboard and tends to snap or dislodge the 20-pin connector if bumped.
