This product is advertised as compatible with Mac but is only compatible at the most basic level. It burns DVDs perfectly, is pretty fast, and (mostly) reliable. But the Lightscribe feature I actually bought it for doesn't work, at least not with Mac OS 10.6.2 on my Macbook Pro. I've spent hours downloading and re-downloading software and drivers to no avail. So if you want to take 20 minutes to turn a yellow DVD into a black one, this is a great product. But if you want the images you see in ads, you're better off with a PC.
