These are excellent quality hinges. The hole size is perfect, the built in rings around the holes are solid and clean, the length is perfect and the coating doesn't make them rough or scratchy. I still put painter's tape around the edges of the hood for extra protection, but I would do the same for the silk loops! The price was great too and I was drawn to knowing they were built in the USA. I'll probably check out their other products.
