Difficult to understand once you have it

TL; DR - Use these settings for Ender3: Hot End Temp: 210CBed Temp: 65-70C Speed: 35mm/Cooling Fan: 100% I only got my Creality Ender3 Pro about two weeks ago so I definitely consider myself a newbie. My wife wanted nice gadgets and found this thread. The first thing I printed with it came out great: an octopus light switch cover. I decided to continue this with a big W20 and nothing worked. At first I thought it was something to do with the printer. I replaced the magnetic bed with glass. I changed the injectors. Started looking for different vents. I even went as far as learning how to use non-acetone nail polish remover to learn how to get rid of some of the artifacts I found. In other words, I've started learning everything newbies will eventually learn about 3D printing. So I have to thank him for providing so many teaching moments! A serious trick I've found is to leave the PLA printer preheated for a while after preheating. After about 5 minutes I noticed that some material was being pushed out of the extruder, although I hadn't run this and there was no automatic cleaning. If you leave it alone it stops, but if you turn it off it starts again. So I started a little ritual with it and every five minutes simply cut off everything that was leaking and checked again; As soon as it stopped I started printing. When using field or plot settings I found that the first 10cm might not print, but once it's started everything runs smoothly. The photo I am attaching to this review is of a planter that my wife wanted to give her mother for Easter. It took about a week of debugging, self-education and labor of love to get the picture shown in the photo 95% complete.
