Review on πŸ”ͺ QEP 6-7006GLQ: 7-Inch Glass Tile Diamond Blade – Ultimate Precision for Wet Cutting, 7mm Rim Height, 5/8-Inch Arbor, 8730 Max RPM by Jesse Diaz

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Hole NOT properly centered - risk of high vibration

Hole NOT properly centered - causes high vibration and uneven wear. Now I was dealing with TWO different brands, "Reference Abrasives" and this QEP 6-7006GLQ. I checked it by hand and it varied by as much as 1/16th of an inch. Compare this to the regular blade (no glass) that came with the Skil tile cutter, which rotates smoothly on both saws. I actually bought another tile cutter after first discovering the CAP problem, assuming the saw was out of order, I never dreamed the blade would be misaligned, which it is . 10% as much as you need (my guess). because the most protruding part does all the cutting. Sorry but I hate when companies do this, they know they have a poor quality product but they sell it like it's a premium product for unsuspecting buyers who assume it's good because it is comes with the Revain Prime seal. This can also result in your saw moving around the bench unattended which can pose a safety hazard.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
