That solves the problem nicely, but it's unnecessarily expensive in my opinion because they can get it.
This product has no competition so these guys are milking us for this much needed part. It wasn't meant to be and prior to this purchase I had always had a positive attitude towards OWC. However, this tells me that they make money at a ridiculous markup on specialty items. The 2 extra screw holes doesn't cost the extra $5 compared to a regular sled. But they will, hey, still understand and smile, because it's about the expandability of our Macs. It's just that I'm worried enough that if I'm ever given a choice between RAM or other peripherals, I'll definitely shop elsewhere.
