I took a chance because it's easy to replace.
I installed this alternator on my 2004 Ford 6.0 PSD Excursion in August 2018. Prices varied a lot, but since this part is easy to get hold of and easy to replace, I decided to take a chance. It is now August 2021 and my car's electrical system continues to function properly. I know that Chinese parts can have a short lifespan, but I also know that we are all interested in making cars work at reasonable prices. This generator delivered, especially as I could have spent 3x that amount on the same item from other vendors.
