Review on Enhanced Ford Mazda Ranger B Series Center Console Latch 1992-2003 - Quick Fix Arm Rest, from Red Hound Auto by Richard Ahmar

Absolutely perfect for spare parts

My center console is already pretty worn out so take it with a grain of salt, I'll update it by supergluing or epoxy. First impressions are great, it's a part that looks like aluminum. It's not a lousy cast or sintered part, not that it's a big deal for such a lightweight part, but it's nice to see the processing being done right. It went right into the '94 center console latch hole and I'll tell you what. These guys scaled it down for this, it fit right in, but because of my bad cap it didn't stay in the hole well. The top of the lid and the plastic sheet itself, on which the hook with the latch is located, separated, soon I'll glue everything together. My only complaint so far is that the hook seems to be too long for my latch. It had some play up and down when I closed it, that could be entirely because my center console is 27 and god knows what insults were thrown at it, or it could be that the measurements were just a touch . Long and skinny, I'm impressed with the quality of the part, these guys don't really care, unlike most manufacturers who use cheap crap. my center console, and it fit there with little, if any, wiggle room. The lid will sit flush with the body of the console and as long as my glue stays on. I no longer need a piece of string to close it thanks guys
