Review on Cordiant Winter Drive 195/55 R15 85T by Franciszka Symanska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

For many years I rode studded tires, for the sake of experiment I bought tires without studs - nevertheless, in Hong Kong, mud is more often than snow. It was my misfortune that snow fell just this year, and they didn’t remove it for two months. Rubber completely gives in to snowdrifts and frozen yards, there is no comparison with spikes. Wherever I got used to climbing calmly (Moskvich 2141, old tires - NordFrost / Amtel NordMaster / Matador Siberia Ice) - I definitely dug in everywhere. Neither a differential lock nor a cat filler under the wheels saves things :( Just call your wife with a pickup truck :) But on the road - if you get out there - the tires behave surprisingly well, they brake stably, they don't even try to slide in corners. Having “written off” this rubber in advance, I rode it until June. Not only does she even have henna - she also rides perfectly. The congresses from the Hong Kong Ring Road passed at a speed of 40-45 km / h - no discomfort, not even a hint of a squeak. In general, it is suitable for “girly cars”, on which no one will jump on the snow dunes.

Pros
  • Wear resistant Rides well on dirty, wet, snowy asphalt Suitable for summer use
Cons
  • Doesn't "row" at all in deep snow and on ice
