Review on 💧 Gates 23933 Enhanced Modular Coolant Hose by Roy Niemeyer

Ordered yesterday, delivered this morning. This is the coolant hose assembly that enters the engine block just behind the thermostat housing. It then splits into a Y and goes to the fire wall to the heater core and also to a metal pipe just behind the engine. You must first remove the battery and motor covers (removable) as this makes access much easier. Loosen all hose clamps and push aside. I used regular pliers for the firewall clamp and some channel locks for the other. The hose on the engine block was a regular clamp (screw type). After loosening the hose clamps, take a sharp knife and cut the hoses parallel to the fittings to remove the hoses. Assembly is much easier than removing the hoses. It took about an hour.
