Much easier with this tool!
I love this tool. I had to remove the heater core hoses which are in a very tight spot between the engine and the bulkhead. I love how the ratchet locks the clip in the open position and frees my hand. I've only used them once since I bought them, but I'm sure I'll use them again. This is required for spring clamps whether they are cramped or not. It's like having a third hand. In my opinion, definitely a useful addition to a tool box. With this new tool I will be using spring clamps wherever possible as opposed to the old school snail clamps.
