I used to have silicone pans and threw them away, that's a huge improvement. Good quality, internal stiffeners on both sides of the handle make it easy to pick up and carry. I intentionally left a few drips of batter in the pan when I baked them and it literally came loose. To remove the cupcakes after they have cooled in the pan on the wire rack, simply press down on the flexible base and they pop out instantly. I did not grease the pan before use.
