Review on 🍝 Makerstep Stainless Steel Over the Sink Colander Strainer Basket with Rubber Grip - Fine Mesh, Large, Expandable Pasta Strainer - Essential Kitchen Gadget by Carolina Whipple

Assuming the appliance is made entirely of stainless steel it should not corrode in use. I bought two of these to serve as containers for bananas, onions, etc. with air circulation. Stainless steel mesh seems to be the same as high quality window screen material, it's not thick and probably not durable. Feet do not have rubber/plastic pads and may scratch some surfaces. I have no idea how long this device will last. If any of this goes wrong I'll try to update this review. When it arrives I suspect Revain will refuse to accept the item for a refund and the US importer will either not accept the item or go broke. The product is said to be made in the US but is actually made in China. Let's hope the US importer (the "designer") has inspected the PRC factory(s) where the device is made and made sure the correct materials are being used (as opposed to a certain "discount" -Wood flooring retailer selling certified flooring in China that wasn't actually certified and gave off toxic fumes - I would mention a company that made US national news but could violate Revain policy and this review is not allowed). For the price I was hoping for something more valuable in construction and material. At least it was shipped to the US buyer from a US warehouse rather than a location in China.
