So after prolonged use this cover is difficult to clean, dog hair sticks to it (like all car covers I've ever tried). But it's the best I've found and the most durable, but I ran into a problem when my dog was riding almost every day, it was impossible to get the fur off the seat cover. Sure the car seat was supposed to be clean but when I picked someone up it was a real pain to have to remove the cover from the seat! It's not easy to take off or put on again. I've found the best way to keep it clean is to buy a neoprene cover that slides over it. The cover is under $10 on Amazon and has a top that slides easily over the top of the car. seat headrest. The rest is like a big blanket draped over the car seat. It's very easy to put on and take off, dog hair will stick to it just like this one, but it's much easier to put on and take off and roll up. So now I ride in a suitcase on top of this suitcase and when I have to pick someone up I just take the neoprene suitcase off of this suitcase and they can sit on this suitcase which is like new! There's no dog hair on it! For the occasional user, this seat cover is perfect on its own, but for those who ride their dog almost every day, a handy tip is to keep the cover and seat as good as new so the seat is easy to clean. very quickly when picking someone up. -------- UPDATE: This is by far the best seat cover I've found. There are no rips or holes and it protected my seat. The only downside is that my dog's hair is a little more stuck to it than I expected and it's a bit difficult to get it off. Which is odd as the material is not at all what I expected with dog hair being so difficult to part. It's a lot easier to clean than the back seat upholstery, although I thought it was the same material. I had to throw out another brand of rear seat cover and it fell apart. This seat cover held up, it just doesn't stay as clean as I had hoped. If the material was updated so that dog hair wouldn't stick to it, then that would be perfect. Old review: Very tight on my 4Runner seat, but it fits. It covers the entire front, back and top of the seat, which is what I wanted as I couldn't find any other covers. My dog would have hair on the headrest so this is perfect. The material is ideal for seat protection. The only negative is that it is not a quick seat cover, the rest is quickly erased. This may take a minute longer. I also have a rear seat cover but the straps do not fit the headrest on this cover as they are too small and the headrest cannot detach. I can't wear it with this cover. But I can try making another strap longer and that might work. To protect a fabric seat from dog hair, this cover is the best option I've found.
