Review on πŸ₯Š Enhance Boxing Skills with YMX Reflex Ball Set - Improve Reflex, Timing, Accuracy, Focus, and Hand Eye Coordination Training by Bob Schultz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I fully endorse the YMX Boxing Reflex Set.

Due to COVID-19 I'm stuck at home doing off-machine bodyweight exercises to stay in shape. I needed some variety in my home workouts, so I bought a set of YMX Boxing Reflex Balls. Being a beginner, cardio doesn't help as I don't move. Maybe as I gain experience I can move around and hit the ball so some cardio is involved. There seem to be hundreds of different boxing ball sets on Revain and eBay, but YMX has most for the same price. like others. Revain's 10% discount coupon made it even more advantageous than the others. The YMX Boxing Reflex Ball Set came with two beginner balls and two intermediate balls with strings attached to each ball. two headbands; four extra cords; and a small tote bag. At the price most other vendors charge, YMX offers two complete sets for the price of one. I've only had the YMX Boxing Reflex Ball Set for a few days, but in these few days I've found myself using it. always more and more. With constant use I got better and can now repeatedly hit (tap) the ball within 10-15 seconds. One important thing is NOT to hit the ball hard. Use light tapping instead. In addition, you always have to keep an eye on the ball. It's also easier to hit the ball than at shoulder or chest height. There are many instructional videos on YouTube on how to use the boxing reflex ball. It looks easy on YouTube, but if you are a new user, understand that there is a learning curve and you will have a hard time. In terms of price and fun factor, I fully support the YMX Boxing Reflex Set. ==== = 6 MONTH UPDATE AND ADIDAS ANKLE GUARD RECOMMENDATIONS ==== I have been using the YMX Boxing Ultimate Reflex Ball for six months. I use it almost every day for 15 minutes. Although the ball is soft, the constant and repeated impact of the ball on the ankles causes joint pain. The boxing glove is too bulky and hand wrapping is too time consuming. I tried using a leather work glove and it worked fine except the elastic cord sometimes caught on the Velcro wrist. Another disadvantage is that a leather work glove is not designed to be worn in a clenched fist, which causes my fingers to spread and the elastic cord to catch between my fingers. . I wasn't sure about one size but I wear a medium glove and Adidas fits perfectly. The lining strength is perfect. I can still feel the reflex hit of a boxing ball against my knuckles, but the pad keeps my joints from hurting. The design of the Adidas Knuckle Protection also makes it easier and more comfortable to keep your fist clenched for long periods of time. The Adidas Knuckle Protection/Warp Sleeve might not be great for hitting a heavy bag, but if you need easy hitting protection, this is perfect. The ease of putting on and taking off the hands is another advantage over boxing gloves and bandages.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
