Bought for my son who broke his. Protective coating on the bottom - EXCELLENT! (He was always a bit CALM about things π) The grip is strong. And we both agreed it was better than the glass handles that some of those decanters have. The filter is well made, filters well (we also use paper filters in it) and holds up great. one for ME when the time comes.βοΈ
