Bought for my son who broke his. Protective coating on the bottom - EXCELLENT! (He was always a bit CALM about things 😄) The grip is strong. And we both agreed it was better than the glass handles that some of those decanters have. The filter is well made, filters well (we also use paper filters in it) and holds up great. one for ME when the time comes.☕️

I use the kettle and filter daily to make coffee and tea, love it. Lasted a month with no quality issues. I love this filter, it doesn't get stuck in it when cleaning like every other reusable filter I've had. One touch, then a quick rinse and it's ready to go. The pot is excellent, but the picture is wrong. Plus, the filter fits perfectly into a regular tea funnel and holds enough bags to make a gallon at a time.

I love evening primrose infusion and have been using reusable stainless steel for years. I was very happy with it, so I can make a few cups of coffee right away. The glass jug is very beautiful and easy to clean. But no matter how hard I try, it always ends up in a mess. Coffee regularly comes out of the spout during brewing. In this case, coffee collects on the rubber bottom and metal ring of the neck. The coffee tastes good, but definitely brew it in the sink until you get the hang of it.

I was looking for a coffee pot with stainless steel strainer because I'm not sure how other coffee pourers with plastic mold and stainless steel strainer stand up to the heat of hot water from everyday use. I'm so glad I found this and for the price it's really worth it. It's actually cheaper compared to other pour overs. We've been using it almost every day since we bought it. You can use this with or without a coffee filter. Up to you. Highly recommended!

If you're used to pouring your coffee with paper, plan on using a metal mesh filter to get a steamed coffee - the water just seeps through. Burnt, hollow taste. Except for very fine coffee grounds, plan for the water to go through fairly quickly compared to the paper. The mechanics of using a paper filter with a basket only slightly improve the situation. A cone filter like the one developed for the V60 doesn't fit as well due to the small flat area on the bottom. No wide basket, no Melitta…

I have been searching/searching for a coffee maker that can make multiple cups of coffee and this seemed to fit everything I was looking for. Having used this pourover for myself I'm happy to say I don't think I could have made a better choice. This pot makes a mild drink that is not bitter at all.
