We just played a version of this game with the family last Christmas weekend and our family was having so much fun I knew we needed a set for ourselves. The set we played with was old, vintage, made from quality materials and no longer available. After looking at different sets and reading reviews, I decided on this set. It arrived quickly and was boxed and under our Christmas tree to open our Christmas present this morning. The packaging looked great and the storage box for all items looks high quality. The tiles aren't as heavy as the vintage tiles, but I wasn't expecting that. They seem beautifully made. Trouble in bowls! When we got the game out we were concerned that the legs/pins you put in the trays to help them stand up could easily break off. We had a blast playing a few tours went out to sort it out and this happened! The pin got stuck and broke when trying to disassemble it. Now we have a brand new game and one of the four trays is not positioned correctly. It will still stand with only one leg/pin, but with more unreliability. I was happy to pay a higher price for a more durable and higher quality "deluxe" version of this game. I expected more than I got. We love this game and everything about this version except the trays. Given this issue I would not buy again and would not recommend this particular set.
