I made the mistake of not reading the review which said they should only be used with larger coil springs, they were too big for my Nissan Frontier springs and i could only get one hook on each end of the feather, still used, very dangerous but they worked. They compressed the spring as much as I needed and then a little. So overall these things will do their job but I would recommend finding a way to make sure they are compatible with your coil springs before you buy, they are definitely oversized for a stock 2009 Nissan Frontier coil spring.
